Beautiful, beautiful music.
This was Sigur Ros’ latest album. Summer of 2008 I would drive along the country by myself with the windows down with this album playing. The music form this album goes so well with the scenery it almost makes me cry. 12 miles an hour completely surrounded by tranquil, settling serenity. There were no houses, no buildings, hardly any power lines. It was all nature. This is my favorite strech of land ever. I want nothing more but to rest among these trails and fields every day. 70 degree weather, little black birds feathering and bobbing through the corn fields. Tall grass, green grass, wild flowers, dirt. This place is absolute peace. I would park my car and listen to the air and birds. It was so quiet and calm. This is one of my happiest places. It resembles breathing. Every time I hear a song form that album all I can see are endless fields and sky and birds. :) This picture makes me so happy. I thought the album cover matched the fence and field behind it in this picture. These are probably my favorite ones. They bring back a really good feeling.
